Who exactly are you?
If you answered “nobody” or “nothing” then you may just be about right.
From birth no one is programmed to think a certain way. However growing in certain environments influence and shape our thoughts and actions. Then, it is suffice to say that our experiences shape who we are, who we become.
With this insight, it’d be clear to see that we are nobody at birth because we were yet to be, to experience, yet to shape any reality. Just like a computer without an operating system we were born. And like an AI, Robot or Android, we learnt and adopted the data closest to us.
The point is, although your future can be predicted, it is unset as the prediction is merely an evaluation of the most likely outcome that could be. You could change because you are constantly creating/re-creating it.
You wield the power in your hand to do what you will and not do what you won’t, you can shape your future and be whomever or whatever you will you be.
So the question isn’t really “who are you?” Because the answer is clear “you are nothing, nobody”. The true question is “who can you become?” because in that question truly lies the power of the potential you are waiting to unveil to the world.
When they said
“remember the child of whom you are”
they meant;
“Remember we are nobodies & set your fucken priorities straight!”
